Shepherd’s Crook Bunk house
Shepherd’s Crook Bunkhouse provides excellent value accommodation in Patterdale in the Lake District, on the popular Coast to Coast walk.
The idea to call this bunkhouse ”Shepherd’s Crook” came from my Grandfather Fred. He came to live here with his family in 1929 and bought the farm in 1954. Fred was a great character and a fine maker of Shepherd’s Crooks. His picture hangs in pride of place in the bunkhouse.
